On Saturday, March 22nd, a group of us headed out to Ocean Beach to work with the Friends of the San Diego River Mouth to help maintain some of San Diego's wetlands. We removed some invasive, non-native plants (a.k.a. weeds) and learned from the experts why it's important to protect the natural world from development within our city limits.
