Call for Proposals : City Heights Public Art Project
The City of San Diego is seeking an artist or artist team to create permanent, documentary public artwork that records the unique nature of City Heights and engender community. The project is wide open for artists working in any media such as drawings, paintings, prints, photographs, videos or multi-media artworks. Funding for the project in the amount of $25,000 was donated by the late Niki de Saint Phalle and the process for artist selection and artwork development is being administered by the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture. These are some good people working to foster the creative community in our city so if you have any ideas, send them a letter of interest, a resume, and some images of their past work
