Invisible Children : 25

Fresh off last week's cameo on Oprah, San Diego-based NPO Invisible Children is gearing up for their biggest event to date. Nearly 100,000 people have committed to 25 hours of silence in a non-verbal protest against 25 years of war waged by Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army. To break the silence, Invisible Children will celebrate in 18 cities across the US aided by some heavy hitters in the music industry, including secret headliners Mumford & Sons. San Diego's event will feature The Fling from Los Angeles and San Diego's own Chairs Missing, hosted on the campus of UCSD in Price Center's East Ballroom.
