This Friday night, step into a conceptual art space that defines contemporary story telling as Survey Select launches their summer Narrative Art Exhibition at the Wonder Bread Factory warehouse in downtown’s East Village (1440 Imperial Avenue) from 6 - 10pm. Eclectic by nature and selective by choice, Survey Select features 65 internationally renowned artists who are all working to firmly reestablish narrative art as a definitive, globally-inspired movement with increasing cultural relevancy. Featured artists include
Irene Hardwicke Olivieri, Marshall Arisman, Shawn Barber, Kelsey Brookes, Dalek, Kyle Field, Maya Hayuk, Tasha Kusama, and many more.

dalekMeet with traveling artists, regional celebrities and be a part of art history in the making. Curator, Mark Murphy will deliver a spirited 15 minute slide show presentation at 8:00pm. Also, electro-pop band  SSI will take stage as Survey Select’s live musical guest.

Survey Select is a community celebration dedicated to the fine art of story telling through a diverse schedule of inspirational workshops, lectures and films.  Aiming to stimulate cultural awareness in the city of San Diego, each event within the eight-week series will be hosted in a creative environment, featuring 65 world-class artworks, artisans, and community leaders, 8 films, 12 workshops, and 4 live performances. Survey Select runs July 15th through September 5th at the Wonder Bread Factory.
