Lee Lavy spent the better half of 2010 experimenting with plastic wrapped canvases and ink filled water balloons. The result was one of my favorite openings in San Diego this year. Lee's studio is attached to the ICE Gallery in North Park, and he definitley put to use his 24 hour access to the space, striping the walls and the floor as showcased in the video above.
