Andrew Heine, Dogcatcher Release KILR
Sezio sprouted from a white house on Ebers Street in Ocean Beach, California. At any given time there was someone screen printing in the garage, painting on the front porch and playing piano in living room or guitar on the roof. There was no lack of creative outlets or inspiration. The ring leader of this house was Andrew Heine, a multi-instrumental musician who also pursued fine art, sharpie tagging, and graphic design. When Andrew wasn't in band practice for Blackout Party or Irradio, he was writing his own songs on the house piano or his guitar under the moniker of Dogcatcher (Just so you have a reference, there's a mix tape I made for Set & Drift with a fine collection of these early house recordings).
Andrew has since relocated to the Bay Area, and has been dedicating time after work to log hours in the studio to release the long-awaited debut, KILR by Dogcatcher. Grab a few free tracks on their bandcamp page, and keep your eyes out for a follow up EP this summer.
