MVM : Wild Nothing

Summer Holiday by Wild Nothing seems to fit San Diego's current weather. This subdued pop track wants to break free from the haze, but sits just nicely underneath the surface. I'm pretty sure this is not the official music video, but it contains some sweet vintage logging footage nonetheless. Also worth checking out is a live video of the same song that Pitchfork just posted.

Jamuel Saxon : Landmines & Chandeliers

Back in January at our 501c(3) party, Keith Milgaten (aka Jamuel Saxon) first introduced a backing band to hyphy, electro solo project.  He chose wisely, selecting the brothers Ralph of Writer to flesh out his new jams.  These new jams, which Milgaten has been carefully crafting for the last three years, are available to you, for free, right now. You can sample one track from the record below.

MVM : Polock

Happy first day of Summer! This video of Polock performing a BSX Take Away Show in Barcelona has me itching for a warm beach day and some Smashball. Summer is my favorite season. Yay!

MVM : Dum Dum Girls

I spent much of Sunday on the sofa watching music videos trying to recover from Saturday night's glorious anniversary show. I texted a friend, "My body hurts" to which he replied "but your soul is singing!" Truer words have not been texted. Seeing the immense support of people at Saturday's show is resonating within me and I am so grateful to be a part of something bigger than myself with rad people. Here is a happy new music video from Dum Dum Girls that helped my body not hurt as much.

You can catch Dum Dum Girls, and Crocodiles @ Casbah July 2nd.

2 Year : Little Deadman

We booked Little Deadman to play our anniversary event about 5 minutes after their set at Tin Can Ale House.  They had only played a handful of live shows at that point, but were already extremely polished.  Have a listen to "Shooting Seagulls" below, and make sure to check out Little Deadman's set at the Subtext Courtyard Saturday night around 8pm.
