Ash Thorp has mega skills in the realm of creative expression via design, illustration and photography. Hailing from Vista, CA, Ash can sometimes be found tearing up dance floors all over downtown San Diego. He recently pumped out a sick book comprised of digital images he captured while visiting his tattoo artists and photographing their sessions at 454 Tattoo in Encinitas, CA. The book is titled, “For The Love Of”. Ash spent ages critiquing his work for the final book, and it shows. 454 hosted a book release for him on 8.30.08. I was happy to attend, and to preview his book along with stunning prints he hung along the room’s perimeter.
