Join the Commune

Commune is a monthly event that started back in February of this year, celebrating local artists, DJs, designers and bands the last Wednesday of the every month.  Each month a new line up is featured, hosted by a local bar in the North Park, South Park or Kensington area.  Commune takes a stand against big industry and in turn supports local industry.

November's Commune is happening tonight, Nov. 26, at the Soda Bar (old Chasers).  Desert Diamonds will be performing, and one of our favorites, Natalia Benson, is hosting a Trunk show with her N.OM earring line.  Her pieces are amazing, and will be at a reduced priced for the holidays.

Gracklesgiving

We, at Sezio, want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for making our first 5 months of sezio.org a success.  We have some great content coming up, to fill out the rest of the year; Disposable Projects with The Donkeys and Manuok, Artist Interviews with Kelsey Brookes and Erik Otto and a bunch more, so stay tuned.

Also we thought we would share some photos taken from our Thanksgiving dinner, last night at the G.R.A.C.K. Enjoy...

MVM : Greg Laswell

They float, they dance, they exchange orange sodas and they even keep their composure in the ice bin.  I dig this video.  Here's Greg Laswell's "How The Day Sounds"...

Download of the Week : Avett Brothers

The Avett Brothers hail from North Carolina, and play rambunctious folk music. Their recordings have that perfect mix of living room sound with a slight studio polish. If you don't own Four Theives Gone and Emotionalism, consider picking those up this week. Here is the first track off the latter of the two.

"Die, Die, Die"

Their live set is pretty awesome as well.
