Back in January at our 501c(3) party, Keith Milgaten (aka Jamuel Saxon) first introduced a backing band to hyphy, electro solo project. He chose wisely, selecting the brothers Ralph of Writer to flesh out his new jams. These new jams, which Milgaten has been carefully crafting for the last three years, are available to you, for free, right now. You can sample one track from the record below.

Want to make it to all of Saturday night's art happenings but can't be in two places at once--let alone three? Well, we're right there with you. To help navigate this Saturday's art pilgrimage, we've made a little map coordinating all three of the night's openings. Begin your trek in Barrio Logan at The Bakery for some coffee & donuts, then cruise over to the East Village for SD Space 4 Art's Inaugural Opening, then to Suture for the good vibes of Endless Summer. Grab your bikes, buds, map, & we'll see you there!

From watercolor to oil, wood sculpture to holograms, and puppets to performance art — this professionally curated art show will include something for everyone. After years of planning and months of construction, Space 4 Art now provides affordable studios for 40 of San Diego's finest artists and craftspeople. Happy first day of Summer! This video of Polock performing a BSX Take Away Show in Barcelona has me itching for a warm beach day and some Smashball. Summer is my favorite season. Yay!

For those of you who missed our one-night opening at Subtext Gallery last Saturday, we're re-opening the show for a two month installation at The Hive in San Diego's East Village. Wednesday, June 23rd we'll host a slightly mellower opening reception free to the public from 6-9pm.
Jump over to Sezio's Facebook Page for event details, and a full gallery of each 12x12 panel. We have a bunch of great pieces still for sale. 50% of the proceeds go to the artist, and the remaining 50% support Sezio!

Sezio of the North is manning a booth at this weekend's THREAD Show in San Francisco. Heine, Gretchen, Dustin, Kyle and Taggart will be printing shirts, tanks, skirts or anything you want to bring from home. Gretchen just wrote me an email with their plan of action:
"Heading up there straight from work to grab Dustin and unload tonight. We're setting up a lounge with comfy chairs and a coffee table you can Sharpie on. We've got a few cool books, white Christmas lights, plants, candles... two nice big tables for screening and working... clothes rack, mannequin, clothes line, stools... sign up/inventory sheets, stickers, buttons... power strips, paper towels.... screens, flash dryer, paints, squeegees, spray solvent... tape, sock monkey, video camera."
THREAD SF will be held Saturday, June 19th at the Concourse Exhibition Center from 11am-6pm.
