The Whistle Stop is hosting another evening of band collaboration tonight, this one getting a little more hyphy than the last one. The set will feature Jamuel Saxon versions of Tape Deck Mountain songs, one of which you can stream or download for free here:

Jamuel Saxon Ep's will be available including every Tape Deck Mountain remix to date. Come get your experimental dance on after 9, those riding critical mass should be able to make it in time for some after-partying.

I'm feelin the need for a throwback today. While this isn't the real music video for The Chills "Pink Frost" it's a nice live performance and a great song to have stuck in your head on a Monday.

If you haven't seen a show at the Habitat yet, you're missing one of San Diego's best musical experiences. The low-key house venue has put together a solid lineup of shows for the summer and I don't anticipate missing any of them.

I've seen White Rabbits once before, and can hardly remember who they opened for. Their dueling drum players captivated The El Rey, and I've been excited to see them headline a show ever since. Check out their newest release Percussion Gun and come out this Wednesday to The Casbah.

This music video for "Hey You" by Pony Pony Run Run has me daydreaming extra longlingly out my office window. I want to take a vacation NOW. Not only is the video amazing but the song is the new summer jam.
