My friend, Nate, and I got a chance to head up to Culver City the other night to catch Ian Francis' second solo show. His work is just so overwhelming and is immensely powerful in person. We got a chance to meet and talk with him about his success as an artist.  It was so nice to hear how down to earth and realistic he is about his place in the world of art. He is and always will be a source of great inspiration to me as an artist.
