Chairs Missing : FILTER / Dickies Session

Late in January we made a day trip to LA with Chairs Missing and Writer. Before both bands joined The Fling at The Satellite (Spaceland) that evening, they stopped by FILTER Magazine's HQ to record some live sessions in the Dickies Garage. Chairs Missing ran through a few tracks, and then drummer Dave Mead promptly hopped into a Dickies jump suit and strutted down Sunset.

Jason Torbert of Goddamn Electric Bill has a new album out today called Jazz. The elusive bedroom beat-maker was also featured in a handful of films at Sundance, including Like Crazy. 

The Tree Ring : "Haida", Record Release

Yesterday The Tree Ring dropped the first single from their forthcoming record, Generous Shadows. Similar to "28th & N.E. Davis" from Joel P West's last record, "Haida" is an incredible, building track that sets the tone for the four-piece's debut.
