Summer abruptly turned to Fall with the rain in San Diego, and that has us thinking about Four Day Weekend. Despite the County's lack of funding and support, we're going to save our pennies and work our butts off to make this happen again! Over the next month we'll be announcing bands and putting tickets up for sale, so make sure you stay tuned.
Kicking off this year's Four Day Weekend will be indie-folk duo Peter Wolf Crier from Minneapolis. PWC released their second full length album, Garden of Arms, today via Jagjaguwar. The duo also swung by Habitat House earlier this year for an impromptu attic performance (see below).
Catch Peter Wolf Crier live in San Diego on Thursday, November 10th, the opening night of Four Day Weekend with Birds & Batteries and Chairs Missing. Tickets to the all ages show can be secured now for $10.
**UPDATE** Purchase a four-night pass to Four Day Weekend for $30 dollars here, which gets you in to see bands like Real Estate, Lord Huron, Dirty Gold and Oregon Bike Trails!

When Dominant Legs played our Four Day Weekend festival last Fall, they were a fledgling band fresh off their debut EP Young at Love and Life. Invitation, the band's first full length release, picks up where Dominant Legs left off, littering speedy guitar riffs across summer pop songs. Check out a couple tracks off the new record below, and mark your calendar for Thursday, September 29th: Sezio presents Dominant Legs, Nurses, and Clockart at Soda Bar.

John Meeks and Joanie Mendenhall kicked off Festivus Quietus with an amazingly beautifully set of music this past July at Habitat House. That collaboration has led to a formal EP which will be released this weekend via Loud and Clear Records. Check out the title track, "From My Grave".
